Low Fat Desserts Recipes - Curry Crackers

Ingredients

  • 50g plain flour

  • 5ml curry powder

  • 1.5ml chili powder

  • 1.5ml salt

  • 15ml chopped fresh coriander

  • 30ml water


Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180.C/350'F/Gas 4. Sift the flour, curry powder, chili powder and salt into a mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Add the chopped coriander and water. Gradually incorporate the flour and mix to a fine dough.

  2. Turn onto a lightly floured surface, knead until smooth, then leave to rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Cut the dough into 12 pieces and knead into small balls. Roll each ball out very thinly to a 10cm/4in round.

  4. Arrange the rounds on two ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes, turning over once during cooking.
