Healthy Desserts Recipes - Cinnamon Hot Cereal Recipe

Ingredients              

  • 1 cup ground flaxseeds

  • 1 cup ground almonds

  • 1/2 cup oat bran

  • 1 1/2 cups wheat bran

  • 1/2 cup vanilla-flavored whey protein powder

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Serves 5


Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients well, and store in an airtight container.

  2. To make a bowl of cereal, put 1/2 cup of the mixture in a bowl, and add 3/4 cup boiling water and a pinch of salt. Stir, and let your cereal sit for a few minutes before eating.
