Dessert Recipes - Topaz Parfait Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup cold water*
1/4 cup brandy or dark rum*
1 envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping mix
2 lbs brown sugar
1 Tbs brandy or dark rum**
Method:
Bring coffee to a boil. Add gelatin and sugar and stir until dissolved. Add cold water and 1/4 cup brandy.
Pour into an 8-inch square pan. Chill until firm-about 4 hours. Cut into cubes.
Prepare whipped topping as directed adding brown sugar and 1 Tbs brandy.
Layer coffee cubes and topping in parfait glasses or top cubes in sherbet glasses with topping.
