Dessert Recipes - Raisin Nut Pie Recipe

Ingredients                

  • 3 eggs

  • 3/4 cup Karo Dark Corn Syrup

  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup Mazola Margarine, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 cup raisins

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell

Make 8 servings


Method:

  1. In bowl beat eggs slightly. Stir in com syrup, brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Stir in raisins and nuts. Turn into pastry shell.

  2. Bake in 350°F oven 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

  3. If desired, serve with un­sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
