Ingredients

3/4 cup Karo
Light Corn Syrup

1 Tbs corn starch
-
1/2
tsp ground cinnamon
-
2 lb ripe fresh plums, pitted,
quartered

1 1/4 cups buttermilk
baking mix

1/2 cup finely chopped
nuts (optional)

1/3 cup
milk
-
1/4 cup sugar
Method:

Stir together first 3 ingredients; toss with plums.
Spoon into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.

Bake in
400°F oven 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix remaining
ingredients. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Drop by
spoonfuls onto hot plums.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes
longer.
