Dessert Recipes - Peach Gem Pie Recipe

Ingredients                 

• One 3-oz package Jell-O Orange Gelatin

• 1 cup boiling water

• 2 cups ice cubes

• Y2 tsp almond extract

• 2 cups sliced peeled fresh peaches

• 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled

Method:

1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add ice cubes and stir constantly until gelatin starts to thicken-3 to 5 minutes.

2. Remove any un-melted ice. Add almond extract and peaches. Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm-about 3 hours.

3. Garnish with whipped topping and toasted almonds, if desired.
