Dessert Recipes - Orange-Raisin Whole Wheat Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Honey-Nut Topping:

1 Tbs cornstarch

1/2 cup chopped
walnuts

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup
butter
Method:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 8- or 9-inch
square pan.

Combine all ingredients except raisins;
beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in raisins.
Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350°F for 40-50
minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes
out clean.

Serve with Honey-Nut Topping, if desired.
Honey-Nut Topping:
In small saucepan, combine cornstarch and honey; add
remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat,
stirring constantly, until mixture starts to boil.
Continue cooking and stirring about 1 minute or
until slightly thickened. Serve warm.
