Dessert Recipes - Jell-O Strawberry Bavarian Pie Recipe

Ingredients    

  • one 3 oz package Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1/2 cup cold water

  • one 10 ounce package Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries

  • 1 cup Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed 

  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled         

Makes one 9-inch pie


Method:

  1. Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries.

  2. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened.

  3. Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. (Mixture may appear slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending.)

  4. Pour into pie shell. Chill until firm, about 4 hours.

  5. Garnish with additional whipped topping, and mint leaves, if desired.
