Dessert Recipes - Grasshopper Pie Recipe

Ingredients        

• 24 chocolate wafer cookies

• 3 tbsp butter, softened

• 24 marshmallows

• 1/2 cup milk

• 1/4 cup Hiram Walker Crème de Menthe green

• 2 cups Whipped Cream      

Makes one 9 inch pie

Method:

1. Crush 24 chocolate wafer cookies fine, then mix with 3 tablespoons of softened butter and press into a pie plate.

2. Melt 24 marshmallows and 1/2 cup of milk in the top of a double boiler; after it has cooled, add 1/4 cup Hiram Walker Crème de Menthe green and fold in 2 cups of Whipped cream.

3. Pour into pie shell and chill well. Then, immediately before the pie is served, decorate it with Whipped Cream.
