Dessert Recipes - Crunchy Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients                

• 3 egg whites

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 12 squares Nabisco Graham Crackers, finely rolled (about 1 cup crumbs)

• 1 cup finely chopped pecans

• 1/4 tsp baking powder

• 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Method:

1. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

2. Combine next three ingre­dients; fold into egg whites. Spread in a greased 9-inch pie plate.

3. Bake in the center of preheated oven (350F) 30 minutes. Cool thoroughly.

4. Spread with whipped cream. Chill 6 hours or overnight.
