Dessert Recipes - Crunchy Chews Recipe

Ingredients 

• 3/4 cup sugar

• 3/4 cup Karo Dark Com Syrup

• 3/4 cup Skippy Super Chunk Peanut Butter

• 4 1/2 cups com flakes, crisp rice cereal or round oat cereal

Makes 4 1/2 dozen (1 1/2-inch) squares

Method:

1. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. In saucepan mix together sugar and com syrup.

2. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat. Boil 1 minute.

3. Mix in peanut butter. Turn into prepared pan. Stir in com flakes and nuts.

4. Press together finely. Cool. Cut into squares.
