Dessert Recipes - Cocoa Peppermint Icing Recipe

Ingredients             

• 1/2 cup butter

• 1/2 cup Hershey's Cocoa

• 3 2/3 cups (1-lb box) confectioners sugar

• Tbs milk

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 1 Tbs crushed peppermint candy

Makes about 2 1/4 cups icing or enough for an 8 or 9-inch layer cake

Method:

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan; add the Cocoa and heat 1 minute or until smooth, stirring constantly.

2. Alternately add sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla and peppermint candy.
