Dessert Recipes - Butterscotch Brownies Recipe
Ingredients

2 cups un-sifted flour

2 tsp baking
powder

1 1/2 tsp salt

One 12-oz package
(2 cups) Nestle Butterscotch Morsels

1/2 cup butter
-
2 cups firmly
packed brown sugar

4 eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla
extract 1 cup chopped nuts
Makes 35 2-inch squares
Method:

Preheat oven to 350°F. In small bowl. combine flour,
baking powder and salt; set aside.

Melt over hot (not
boiling) water, Nestle Butterscotch Morsels and butter;
remove from heat and transfer to large bowl. Stir in
brown sugar. Cool 5 minutes.

Beat in eggs and vanilla
extract. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread
evenly into greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

Bake at
350°F for 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares.
Note: For one 6-oz
package, recipe may be divided in half. Spread into
greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30
minutes.
