Instructions for jar:
Combine flour
with cinnamon, ginger, cloves and baking powder.
Spoon into 1 liter jar.

Spoon oats
over flour and spoon sugar over oats.

Add pecans on
top of sugar and press down lightly to fit into
jar.

For baking:
Preheat oven to 350 (176C). Whisk
butter, eggs and vanilla together in large mixing
bowl.

Slowly add jar contents and mix after each addition
until dough holds its shape.

Divide dough in half
and shape each half into 12-inch (30 cm) long roll
place both rolls on un-greased baking sheet.

Bake for
25 minutes or until light brown. Cut each roll
diagonally into slices 1/2-inch (1.2 cm) thick using
sharp, serrated knife.

Place slices on un greased
baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes. Turn each slice
over and bake for 7 or 8 more minutes or until
slices are light brown. Move to cooling rack.
