Dessert Recipes - Mint Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Ingredients              

• 3/4 cup sugar

• 1 cup packed brown sugar

• 1 3/4 cups flour

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1/4 cup cocoa

• 1/2 cup mint chocolate chips

• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 1 egg

Method:

1. Instructions for jar: Place sugar in 1 liter jar and spoon brown sugar over sugar.

2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Spoon mixture over brown sugar.

3. Spoon cocoa over flour mixture, add chocolate chips on top and press gently to fit.

4. For baking: Preheat oven to 350 (176C). Empty contents of jar into large bowl.

5. Beat egg with vanilla and butter. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients in bowl and stir well.

6. Drop by teaspoonfuls on un greased baking sheet. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes.
