Dessert Recipes - Malted Milk Crunchies

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/4 cups malted
milk powder

2 cups flour
-
1/2 tsp baking
powder

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup
miniature-chocolate chips

3/4 cup/180 ml
(11/2 sticks) butter, softened

2 eggs
(Makes about 3 to 3 1/2 dozen.)
Method:

Instructions for jar: Pour sugar in 1 liter jar
and smooth over to even out.

Spoon malted milk
powder over sugar and even out. Press down
lightly.

Spoon flour on top
of malted milk powder. Press down lightly and
even out. Pour baking powder and salt over
flour.

Add chocolate
chips on top of flour and press down firmly to
fit into jar. Place lid on jar.

For baking: Preheat oven to 350 (176C). Empty contents or jar
into large bowl. Add butter or margarine and eggs.

Beat on low speed or by hand until dough is
thoroughly mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto
un-greased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or
until edges are lightly browned.

Remove from oven
and let cookies cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute,
then transfer to cooling rack.
