Instructions for jar:
Pour sugar
into 1 liter jar and smooth over.

Spoon flour
and baking powder over sugar.

Place pecans
on top of flour ad press down evenly.

Sprinkle
toffee chips over pecans. Place lid on jar and
close.

For baking: Preheat oven to 325 (162C). Empty contents, of jar
into large
mixing bowl. Add butter or margarine and egg yolks.

Beat on low speed or by hand
until dough is
thoroughly blended.
Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and place 2
inches (5 cm) apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or
until very lightly
brown. Remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet
for 1 minute. then transfer to cooling rack.
