Cold Desserts Recipes - Muscat Grape Frappe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bottle Muscat wine, Beaumes de Venise, Frontignan or Rivsaltes

  • 450g/1lb Muscat grapes


Method:

  1. Pour the wine into a stainless steel or enamel tray, add 150ml/2/3cup water and freeze for 3 hours or until completely solid.

  2. Remove the seeds from the grapes with a pair of tweezers. If you have time, peel the grapes.

  3. Scrape the frozen wine with a tablespoon to make a fine ice. Combine the grapes with the ice and spoon into 4 shallow glasses and serve.
