Cold Desserts Recipes - Lemon Syllabub Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100g/4oz caster sugar

  • Juice and zest of 2 lemons

  • 3 tablespoons brandy

  • 600ml/1pt double cream

Serves 6


Method:

  1. Whisk together the caster sugar, lemon juice and zest and the brandy.  

  2. In another bowl, whisk the double cream until thick, then slowly whisk in the lemon mixture. Pour into wine glasses and refrigerate overnight and serve.
