Cold Desserts Recipes - Banana Split Recipe

Ingredients

• 200g/7oz dark chocolate

• 175ml/6fl oz cream

• 25g/1oz butter

• 4 bananas

• 12 scoops vanilla ice-cream

• Chopped nuts to serve

Serves 4

Method:

1. Put the chocolate, cream and butter in a pan and stir over a low heat until smooth. Cool slightly.

2. Split the bananas in half lengthways and arrange in 4, glass dishes.

3. Place 3 scoops of ice-cream in each dish, and pour the chocolate sauce over the top.

4. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
