Lavender Cookies
Ingredients
150g/2/3 cup butter
115g/1/2 cup granulated sugar
1
egg, beaten
15ml/1 tbsp dried lavender flowers
175g/1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
leaves and flowers, to decorate
Method:
Preheat
the oven to 180'C/350'F /Gas 4. Grease two
baking sheets. Cream the butter and sugar
together, then stir in the egg. Mix in the
lavender flowers and the flour.
Drop spoonfuls of
the mixture on to the baking sheets. Bake for about
15-20 minutes, until the biscuits are golden. Serve
with some fresh leaves and flowers to decorate.
